August 2009 - Sawgrass is proud to have earned a position among the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in America, by Inc. magazine.

July 2009 - In a recent FundFire article, Sawgrass was recognized as the leader for "Managers Winning the Most Mandates" in the large cap growth category. This was from a comprehensive study by Eager, Davis & Holmes of total mandates awarded by institutional investors industry-wide. More information is available at fundfire.com.

May/July 2009 - For the second consecutive year, Sawgrass is proud to be recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work” by the Jacksonville Business Journal.  Over 100 local companies submitted nominations, and Sawgrass placed #3 in the Small Business Category. 

Sawgrass was also recently recognized among the top 50 fastest growing privately held companies in Northeast Florida by the Jacksonville Business Journal. This award measures the fastest growing private firms over the past three years. Thanks to our clients, we are very proud to be a part of this select group.

June 2009 - The Sawgrass Opportunistic Growth Best Ideas composite exceeds $100 million in assets under management. Since is was launched in 2007, the portfolio has 15 client relationships across the United States.

June 2009 - Sawgrass is proud to announce that we manage $2 billion in Growth Equity and Fixed Income assets across 21 states. We have been able to reach this assets under management threshold over the past year with the trust and confidence of our clients. May 2009 - Sawgrass is proud to announce that David A. Furfine, CFA has been promoted to Co-Director of Fixed Income Investments.  David has been managing Fixed Income portfolios for the past 25 years and is a founding partner at Sawgrass.  The Fixed Income Team at Sawgrass currently manages over $1 billion in Fixed Income portfolios for our clients across the United States.  

October 2008 - We are happy to announce the addition of Lirdon Gila to our Fixed Income team.  Lirdon will work with Andrew Cantor, CFA and David Furfine, CFA as a Fixed Income Analyst for our bond portfolios.  Liridon graduated from the University of North Florida with a M.B.A. and B.A. in Finance. He has four years of previous work experience with Fidelity National Financial.
